Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Multiple Positions)

Duties:

Work with stakeholders to implement end-to-end data solutions such as data models, data pipelines, and BI products to solve complex business requirements. Translate business requirements into technical designs to map and load data from source systems to data warehouses, downstream applications, and trading partners. Create pipelines, data flows, and data transformations and manipulations using Azure Data Factory. Design and Develop Azure Data Factory (ADF) extensively for ingesting data from different source systems. Ensure quality and accuracy of the data mapped from staging environments to the target reporting environments. Ingest huge volume and variety of data from disparate source systems into Azure DataLake Gen2 using Azure Data Factory V2. Work alongside data engineers to construct high quality data. Manage, monitor, and ensure the security and privacy of data to satisfy business needs. Maintain data repository with data definitions, relationships, linkages and sources. Communicate open items and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, and business areas. Perform root cause analysis for issues and provide effective and timely resolution. Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis to support business needs.

Review the functional requirements and user stories. Design test plans, write test cases, oversee test strategies, and perform testing for assigned applications. Responsible for quality assurance within a scrum team, include test case documentation, functional, regression and smoke testing, platform testing, performance testing and automated script creation. Submit and verify defects, maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and software modifications, analyze test results to certify functionality and integrations and recommend corrective action upon failures. Involve in writing test scripts using java and executed it through selenium Cucumber. Develop manual and automated test cases by decomposing use cases from BRD. Duties:

Be involved in all the phases of the Data warehouse lifecycle such as design, development, analysis, and testing in the various areas of Data warehousing. Develop complex mappings in Informatica using a variety of PowerCenter transformations. Performance tune the Informatica code by identifying the bottlenecks at sources, targets, PowerCenter transformations, and sessions. Collect performance data for sessions and tune performance by adjusting Informatica session parameters. Perform data profiling and create Scorecards. Consult and mentor technical resources during design, development, and unit testing phases. Communicate project status to the team and a wide range of stakeholders. Manage dependencies between internal Scrum teams and third parties. Escalate risks and issues to the project board. Provide design recommendations and thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders that improve review processes and resolve technical problems. Work with IT staff members to ensure cross training and provide back up support.
